Beverly Jean Cownie

Beverly Jean Cownie, 82, of Jonesboro, formerly of Omaha, Nebraska passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1941 in Sioux City, Iowa to William Ray and Bonnie Urqhardt. Beverly was one of four siblings, sister Sharon, and two brothers William (Bill) and Butch.

She was a loving wife and mother and her dedication to her family was endless. She was a longtime employee of Ballantyne Strong Corporation in Omaha and a loyal Husker fan.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Cownie.

Survivors include her children, Rose Schreiner (Scott) and Mark Cownie (Mary). Grandsons: Joshua Schreiner, William Schreiner (Guadelupe), Cade, Lane and James, Great Grandchildren Waylon and Isabella.
