Beverly May Adams, 75, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born to the late Rufus and Mamie Love on October 16, 1945 in Chicago. Beverly’s father was a deep sea oil pipe crane operator and he traveled all over the world with his family for work. Through her travels, Beverly attended school in different countries and finished high school in Houma, Louisiana. She was a department manager for Walmart for many years before having to quit due to her getting sick. Beverly enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and riding horses in her younger days. In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her ex-husband, Cliff Adams; son, Pete Adams; sister, Linda Johnson; and friend, Josephine Morgan.
Beverly is survived by her son, Timothy Adams (Shannon Smith) of Jonesboro; brothers, Rufus Love of Texas and Jeffery Love of Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Adams (Jerimiah Gardner), Aaron Adams (Laura), Pete Adams Jr. (Misty), Josh Adams, and Dexter Adams; and great grandchildren, Brandon, Dusty, Lexi, and Tony.
