Beulah Mae Guthrie

August 28, 1937 — February 8, 2008

“Lillie” Beulah (Redman) Guthrie, 70, of Caraway, died Friday, February 8, 2008 at the University Medical Center in Jackson Mississippi. She was born in Milligan Ridge, Arkansas and lived her life in Caraway. She was a member of the Caraway Church of Christ Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Wallace, one son, her parents and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband Walter Guthrie, of the home; daughter, Sue and David Bright, Paragould; step-son, James Guthrie Jr., Tennessee; three brothers, James, Bill and Richard Redman of Caraway; three sisters, Ollie Bratten, Hardy, Arkansas; Paulette Fry, Black Oak, Arkansas; and Betty Sue Pipkin, Jonesboro; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 11, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Rick Stevens officiating and burial to follow at Caraway Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Phillip Hurst, Chad Timms, Gary Fortson, Paul Weaver, Chad Sneed and Walter Gatlin. Visitation will be from noon until service time on Monday.
