Betty Jo Taylor, 87, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Betty was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 26, 1932 to the late Archie Isaac and Thelma Vosburg Lunday. Betty lived in Jonesboro for 20 years, moving here from Waco, Texas. Betty loved the Lord and was a faithful Christian and loved to help people and spread the gospel to all. Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, retired childcare worker, loved the Baylor Bears and the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Taylor, Son, Paul Taylor Jr., Daughter, Linda Taylor, Brother, Archie W. Lunday and sister, Louise Osbourne.

Survived by her Sons, Richard Taylor of Jonesboro. Bobby Taylor of Waco, Texas and Randy Taylor (Mercy) of McKinney, Texas.
Daughter, Carrie Smith (Barry) of Jonesboro.

Brothers, Ed Lunday of McKinney, Texas and Tom Lunday of Ft. Worth, Texas.
Sister, Bonnie McCollough of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Grandchildren, Matthew Smith, and Jasmine Wymore.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in the Rosemound Cemetery in Waco, Texas with Pastor David Cozart officiating. Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

There will be no visitation.
