Betty Louann Schales

Betty Louann Schales, 73, of Jonesboro died Tuesday August 7, 2012 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

She was born in Yellville, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro since 1955. She was a homemaker and a member of the Community of Christ Kids Bible Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Edna Seay Corter, son, Johnny Schales and a grandson.

Survived by her husband of 55 years, Lonnie Schales of the home.
Daughters, Lou Lasley (James), Darla Crawford both of Jonesboro.

Brothers, Troy Corter of Florida, Mike Corter, Lonnie Corter and Randy Corter all of Nebraska.

Sisters, Lynn Stevens of Nebraska, Susie Younger of Batesville.

12 grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life will be held at 5:00 P.M. August 17, 2012 at the Community of Christ Kids Club, 108 W. Woodrow Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.

Burial will be private and there will be no visitation.
