Betty Pedersen

Betty L. Woods Pedersen, 71, of Detroit, Michigan, was born in Bay and grew up in Arkansas before moving to Detroit. She had moved back to Jonesboro this year. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margie Woods; sisters Mabel Johnson and Wilma Smith; brothers, James Woods and Fred Woods.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Barry of Detroit; son, Donald Pedersen and wife, Leahola of Allen Town, Michigan; brother, Jerry Woods, Chicago, Illinois; sister, Connie Jackson of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Donlee, Karlee and Adlee Pedersen.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Friday January 27, 2012 at Nettleton Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Donald Pedersen, Edward Barry, Greg Jackson, Michael Jackson, Robbie Spencer and Nick Moreno. Honorary pallbearers are family and friends. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:30 at Emerson Funeral Home.
