Betty Sue Marsh, age 84 of Jonesboro, passed from this life at Craighead Nursing Center Tuesday, April 28, 2015. She died peacefully whistling a tune. Betty was born to Harold and Wilma Elliot Hinson on November 25, 1930. She had lived in Jonesboro most her life moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico after marrying and then to Boulder, Colorado before returning to Jonesboro to establish the Harley Davidson dealership. She was a member of the1st Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Betty loved to cook, garden, play bridge, and ride her Harley.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert (Bobo) of 60 years and a brother. Survivors include her son, Bryan and his wife Mary Carolyn Marsh of Jonesboro; 2 daughters, Judith Carol Jonker and her sons Brandon and Justin Jonker of Mckinney, Texas; Alecia Marsh Warnock and her husband Prince and children Prince, Jr and Jurdy Warnock of Leeds, Alabama; sister, Judith Watkins of Bono, Arkansas; several “4 legged” grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
All services will be private.
