Betty Jean Jones

Betty Jean Jones 75, of Jonesboro died Saturday July 29, 2006 at her residence.

She was a native of Wrigley, TN, and had lived in Memphis before moving to Jonesboro in 1954.

She was a registered nurse and also assisted at the Animal Medical Center with her husband for many years.

Was a member of the Valley View Church of Christ, and was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Mary D. Bryant.

Survivors include her husband Dr. Jack Jones of the home.

Two sons: John Jones of Jonesboro.
Phillip Jones and his wife Zita of Jonesboro.

One daughter: Jennifer Powell of Jonesboro.

Two brothers: James Robert Bryant of Centerville, TN and Jimmy Dean Bryant of Hendersonville, TN.

One sister: Virginia Sue Eubanks of Mt. Juliet, TN.

Two Grandchildren: Lexi Rae Jones and Reece James Jones.

Funeral service will be 10:30 Monday July 31, 2006 at the Valley View Church of Christ with David Gibson officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday July 31, 2006 from 9:30 A.M. until service time at the Valley View Church of Christ.

Family requests that lasting memorials be made to the Valley View Church of Christ.
