Betty Joe Gibson

Betty Joe Gibson, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Craighead County Nursing Center in Jonesboro.

Betty was born in Brookland to Jewel and Vival Gambill Anderson in 1933. She grew up in Brookland and was a graduate of Brookland High School. She moved to Jonesboro in 1978 and was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include 2 sons: Kent (Dana) Gibson of Jonesboro and Byron Gibson of Columbia, Missouri;

1 daughter, Kim (Alex) Dula of Rockspring, Texas;

1 sister, Linda Reece of Brookland; and

4 grandchildren: Kena Gibson, Dia Watson, Tess Dula and Stephanie Para.

All services will be private. There will be no visitation.
