Betty Greenway
June 18, 1938 — September 19, 2012
Betty F. Greenway departed this life at her residence in Harrisburg on September 19, 2012. The daughter of John and Pearl Condrey, she was born June 18, 1938, in Savannah, Tennessee. At the age of sixteen she married Logan Greenway of Trumann and they shared forty-four years and raised five children.
A former employee of the Harrisburg School District, affectionately known as “Miss Betty” by staff and children alike, she served eighteen years as Custodian at the Harrisburg Elementary School.
Husband Logan, son Steve and daughter Tammy preceded her in death. Daughter Sharon and husband Jim Garner of Harrisburg, son Scott Greenway of the home, daughter Michelle and husband Dale Hedges of Harrisburg, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren survive Mrs. Greenway.
The family will host a Memorial Service at the Glissen’s Life Center in Harrisburg, on September 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
