Betty Sue Davis (Williams), 85, of Viola, Arkansas and Rockford, Illinois passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, July 20, 2026.

She was born on November 14, 1940 to Elmer and Opal Williams.

She married Denver Cleo Davis July 5, 1957. She was a devoted wife and mother. Her sons, Darin Davis (Corina) of Rockford, Illinois and Michael Davis (Donna) were her world.

Preceding her in death were her son Michael, grandson Jamie, parents Elmer and Opal Williams, sisters Oneda, Martha and Lavetta, brothers Junior, Bill, AJ, James, Raybron and Charles.

She is survived by her husband Cleo Davis, son Daris Davis (Corina), 5 grandchildren, 16 great-grandkids, 7 great-great grandkids, sister Patricia (Scott) Armstrong, Jerry Williams, Donnie Williams, and sisters-in-law Patsy and Johnnie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The graveside service will follow at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland officiated by Bro. Mitch Ford. Active pallbearers include: Joel Pettit, Roger Williams, Jack McCann, and Kenny Martin.
