Betty Clark

Betty L. Clark, 71, of Jonesboro died on February 26, 2013 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.

Betty was born in Crawfordsville, Arkansas to Bertha Mae Neal and Luke Ray Neal on May 27, 1941. In 1990 she attended East Arkansas Community College earning two degrees simultaneously, and then earning her Bachelor’s degree in 1997 at Arkansas State University. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, The Southern Bells, and the NEA Breast Cancer Support Group. Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Richards and husband Paul of Forrest City, Cheryl Clark and husband Paul Parker of Malta, New York, and Julie Clark and husband Brad Davis of Memphis, Tennessee; Five grandchildren, Cristy Casey and husband Jesse of Widener, Arkansas, Eric Richards, and Kayla Richards of Forrest City, Leocadie and Nico Parker of New York; Four great grandchildren, Justin, Haley, and Ethan Casey of Widener, and Nataley Richards of Forrest City; Two sisters, Marti MacDonald and husband John of Las Vegas, Nevada and Dorthy Wright and husband Bill of Stuart, Florida.

A memorial service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
