Betty Baswell Emerson

Betty Baswell Emerson, 76, of Bono, died on Sunday November 6, 2011, at St Vincent Health System in Little Rock, with her family at her side.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Emerson; parents, Stacy and Eunice Baswell; a brother Bill Baswell.

Survivors include her son, David Emerson of Jonesboro; four nieces, Regina Baswell of Bono, Billie Pizzano of Little Rock, Ramona Gordon of Fayetteville, and Vicki Massengill of Florida; nephew, Howard Baswell of Hardy.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Steve Moody officiating.
Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Patrick McNamee, Shelby Blevins, John Kilough, Harold Manus, Charles Petty, John Petty, Shane Pattillo.
