Bessie Mae Shipman, 88, of Bono, went to be with her Lord on Friday, April 6, 2012, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Ash Flat to Walton and Sue Anderson Hinton.
Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, by her first husband, Steve Buazard, her second husband, Jeff Lee Shipman, 2 sisters, Louise Shook and Juanita Gilmore, a brother, James Hinton, son Steve Buazard, Jr., and a grandson Justin Payton.
Survivors include 2 sons and their wives: William and Shelia Buazard of Bono and Claude and Nancy Buazard of Blytheville;
2 daughters, Sue Hatcher of Jonesboro and Stella Tabb of Bono;
1 brother, Loyd Hinton of Blue Earth, Minnesota;
She was also blessed with 19 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren one being her Maw Maw Bessie’s “sweet patootie” Jasmine Lynn Bonham, and 15 great, great grandchildren.
She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of special friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Nancy Rainwater officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.
Pallbearers include grandsons Seth Buazard, Stevie Buazard, Rick Mathis and Jessie Randle, and great grandsons Chris Tejas and Tyler Buazard.
Visitation will be held Monday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
