Berneta Rae Baird

Berneta Rae Baird, age 73, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday evening, November 25, 2005, at Craighead Nursing Center in Jonesboro where she resided.

Born October 7, 1932, in Ainsworth, Nebraska, Mrs. Baird lived in Kimball, Nebraska, Fort Morgan, Colorado, Pampa, Texas and Amarillo, Texas before moving to Jonesboro 2 years ago.

She had been a school teacher, secretary, and was a talented handweaver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Aaron Baird, in 2004.

Survivors include:

3 Daughters: LeAnne Baird of Dallas, Texas,
Karen Anderson of Hartsburg, Missouri, and
Jeanne Grossman of Jonesboro;

1 Son: Jeffrey Baird of Keller, Texas;

1 Sister: Dorris Ann Ashley of North Platte, Nebraska;

11 Grandchildren, and
4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial will be private. There will be no visitation.
