Bernard Moody Iii

Bernard Delany Moody III, 59, of Jonesboro died Wednesday March 19, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born in New Bern, North Carolina on October 15, 1954 to the late Bernard Delaney and Celia Howell Moody Jr. He had lived in Jonesboro for 8 years, moving here from North Carolina. Bernard was a truck driver and of the Baptist belief.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother; William McKinley Moody and daughter; Tanya Moody.

Survived by his sister; Connie Petty of Jonesboro. Nephew; Michael Petty of Jonesboro. Great nephews; Evan Petty of Jonesboro and Kameron Henry of Longview, Texas. Niece; Sunni Moody Henry of Longview, Texas.

All service will be private with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
