Benny L. Fry Jr.

Benny Lloyd Fry Jr., 46, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Benny was born in Jonesboro and lived most of his life here. He attended the First Assembly of God Church, worked at Crane Kemlite for over five years; and was a previous director for the Miss Arkansas USA Pageant. He had a passion for flowers and floral design. He was preceded in death by his father, Ben Fry Sr.

Survivors include his mother, Merle Fry, Jonesboro; brother Tim Fry and wife Marsha; nephews Tyler Fry, Logan Fry, and Adam Fry; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Matt Smith and Eulogist Rob Brewer officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Shannon Rose, Stephen Boothe, J. R. Rogers, David Gambill, Elton Bryant and Rob Brewer. Honorary pallbearer is Joann Rogers and burial will follow the service at Manning I Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
