Benjamin Riley Wilson

July 7, 1979 — December 29, 2011

Benjamin Riley Wilson, 32, of Bono went to be the Lord Thursday, December 29, 2011.

Benjamin was born on July 7, 1979 to Lester and Jennifer Wilson of Bono, where he was a lifetime residence of Bono. He graduated from Westside High School in 1997, before moving on to earn his degree in Diesel Mechanics from Black River Technical College. He was a member of the Bono Church of Christ, where he was a faithful member. The most important things in Benjamin’s life were his family; he loved to spend time with the love of his life Samantha and the joy of his life Charlee Suzanne. He also loved to hunt, cook, and anything to do with racing. He farmed with his dad in the Bono and Knobel areas, until starting his own contracting business to build grain bins. He had the heart of a servant, and he was always looking for ways to help others in need. Those close to Benjamin will never forget the love he shared and his contagious smile.

Survivors include his wife and daughter, Samantha and Charlee Suzanne Wilson both of the home; parents, Lester and Jennifer Wilson of Bono; a sister and brother-in-law, Courtney and Brian French of Bono; maternal grandparents, Walt and Jackie Sauser of Bono; paternal grandparents, Billie and Alta Jean Wilson of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews, Wil, Jack, and Lacey French, Skylar and Cooper Berger, Grayson and Addison Huff, Sarah, Clayton, Madie Grace, and Maya Baker.

He was preceded in death by his cousin, Brent Gibson; and his mother-in-law, Sheryl Carey.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Barry Keith Vaughn, Brett Welch, Kevin Hufstedler, Kevin James, Kevin Pope, Justin Wilson, Blake Lane, Mark Coots, Cody Arnold, and Jeff Davis.

Also, honored to serve as honorary pallbearers are his crew from Bono Hasbins, and his Deer hunting clubs.

Funeral Service will be at 10a.m. on Monday in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Richard Akins officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery in Bono with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5-7p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers and for lasting memorials the family asks that you consider making a donation to a special fund for his daughter Charlee Wilson at Liberty Bank, P.O. Box 7514-72403 in care of Charlee Wilson.
