Benjamin Edward Harbin, Jr.

Benjamin Edward Harbin, Jr., age 68, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Friday morning, January 27, 2006 at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born November 15, 1937 in Darling, Mississippi, Mr. Harbin lived in Clarksdale, Mississippi before moving to Jonesboro 35 years ago. He was an Electrician and Maintenance person for Flash Markets, Inc. He also operated Ed Harbin Electric Service for several years in the Jonesboro area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 granddaughter.

Survivors include:

1 Son: Edward Ray Harbin of Jonesboro;

4 Daughters: Trudi Garland of Prairieville, Louisiana,
Pam Foshee of DeWitt,Arkansas;
Beth Carter of Jonesboro, and
Brandee Winchell of Lacey, Washington;

15 Grandchildren, and
8 Great Grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, January 31, 2006, at 2:00 at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Melvin York officiating.

Grandsons Lacey Liston, Kenneth Liston, Edward Harbin, Timothy Harbin, Robert Harbin, and Jeremy Garland will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Monday evening from 6-8 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
