Benjamin F. "Ben" Clark

Benjamin Clark, 81, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, August 28,2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. He was born April 13, 1941, in Chicago to the late Raymond Clark and Pearl Irene Pruitt.

Ben worked many years in construction before working for Hytrol Conveyor Company in Jonesboro where he retired after several years. He enjoyed flea markets, auctions, buying and selling, and was a member of Family Fellowship Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Ben always had a deep and caring spirit for animals, especially dogs, and had many special canine buddies in his life. But above all, Ben loved his family.

In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Ralph Clark, and his sister, Donna Clark. Also preceding him in death were his wife of over 50 years, Linda Clark, and his daughter, Gail Clark.

Ben is survived by a son, Michael Clark of Brookland, and by grandchildren Dyllan, Haleigh, Harper, and Aylor who was PawPaw's best buddy!!

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at Mt Zion Cemetery near Walcott with Pastor Farrell Duffel of Family Fellowship Baptist Church of Jonesboro officiating.  Honored to serve as pallbearers are members of the Senior Mens Bible Study Class of Family Fellowship Baptist Church.  Visitation will follow the service at graveside.
