Becky Rowell Barch Joiner, 53, of rural Jonesboro, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016, at her home of natural causes.
Born in Osceola, Becky grew up in Luxora and moved to Jonesboro in 1983. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University and earned two Bachelor degrees: one in accounting and one in computer information systems. Becky was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service with 18 years of service.
Becky was a member of the Church of Christ and enjoyed entertaining and doing things for and with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was an Arkansas Razorbacks, ASU Redwolves and Dallas Cowboys fan. Becky was preceded in death by her first husband, Chris Barch, Sr. and her father, Robert Rowell.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn Joiner of the home;
1 son: Chris Barch, Jr. (Amy) of Phoenix, Arizona;
1 step son: Roy Crews (Darlene) of Bono;
1 step daughter: Ashley Cantwell (James) of Marked Tree;
her mother: Emma Rowell of Walcott;
2 sisters: Donna Graves (John) of Walcott, and Annette Stoner of Jonesboro;
2 brothers: Robert "Buster" Rowell of Walcott and Teddy (Robin) Rowell of Brentwood, California;
4 grandchildren: Jordan Cantwell, Dana Cantwell, Annabelle Rae Barch and
Christopher del Real Barch; and
many nephews and nieces who Becky loved very much.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 p.m. Tuesday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Michael Cox officiating. Burial will follow in McDaniel Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Robert Rowell, Teddy Rowell, Dennis Hannah, John Graves, Eric Rodrigue and Douglas Graves.
