Beachel Jeff Taylor

Beachel Jeff Taylor, 82, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, November 12, 2015 in Tomball, Texas. He was born to the late Carson and Tennie Taylor in Jonesboro on July 28, 1933. Beachel served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a proud veteran. He was a member at Prospect Baptist Church and spent most of his life working as a mechanic. Beachel enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. One of his favorite pastimes was telling stories about his past. In addition to his parents, Beachel is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Lee Taylor; sons, Beachel Jeff Taylor Jr. and Brentley Jefferson Taylor; brothers, Loy Taylor and George Taylor; and sisters, Ila Mitchell, Pearlie Minton, Ruth Kaiser, and Mildred Veal.

Beachel is survived by his daughters, Brenda Slack (Eddie) of Houston, Texas and Linda Carter (Roy) of Magnolia, Texas; son, Burtley Taylor (Glyn) of Magnolia, Texas; daughter-in-law, Karen Taylor of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Becky House, Lisa Edmondson (Eric), Will Slack (Sharla), Robert Slack (Meghan), Marcus Hutto (Amanda), Michelle Myhre (Mark), Mandy Taylor (Matt), Brent Taylor, Nick Cavalcanti, Carson Taylor, BJ Taylor, Brett Taylor, Brandon Taylor, and Blake Taylor; great grandchildren, Brenden Slack, Ryan Slack, Weston Slack, Katelyn Slack, Josh McGuinn, Lujack McGuinn, McKayla Hutto, Madison Hutto, Carson Haynie-Wyatt, Jackson Myhre, Ashton Taylor-Thompson, Brantlee Taylor, and Brynlee Slack. Beachel also leaves behind one great-great grandson, Wyatt Slack and his beloved companion, Pat Price.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery. Honored to serve as pallbearers are his grandsons and serving as honorary pallbearers will be his great grandsons.

The visitation will be prior to service from 12:30-2:00 p.m.
