Barry Wayne Flemon Jr.

Barry Wayne Flemon Jr. 53, of Jonesboro passed away Friday, September 10, 2021. He was born June 8, 1968 in Jonesboro to Patricia Flemon and the late Barry Wayne Flemon Sr. Barry attended Sanctuary Church. He was a member of the National Guard for 8 years. Barry worked as a journeyman wireman for IBEW Local 1516 for 28 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his truck. Barry loved sports and was an avid Razorbacks and Steelers fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Barry was preceded in death by a son, Samuel Wyatt Flemon.

In addition to his mother, Barry is survived by his son, Barry “Trai” Wayne (Megan) Flemon III of Bartlett, Tennessee; daughter, Amy Kristine Flemon of Jonesboro; 2 brothers, Wesley “Scott” (Rosina) Flemon of Jonesboro, James Bruce (Amy Jo) Flemon of Geep; 2 grandchildren, Jet Wayne Flemon, Bhric Liles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Kenneth O’Connell and Bro. Rick Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
