Barbara Ann Woods

Barbara Ann Woods, 64, of Trumann, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born in Pekin, Illinois, on July 2, 1959, to Charles Sr. and Carrie Bell. In 1975, Barbara moved to Trumann, Arkansas, where she made her home and was of the Baptist belief.

Barbara had a passion for reading and enjoyed spending her free time watching TV. She cherished the moments spent with her beloved daughter, Elizabeth. Barbara found joy in walking her dog, going shopping, and going to the movies.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband of many years, Kenny Woods, her father, Charles Bell Sr., as well as two brothers, Charles "Mike" Bell Jr. and Jerry Bell. She leaves behind her mother, Carrie Bell of Trumann, her daughter Elizabeth (Chad) Williams of Lake City, two sisters, Wanda Bell of Trumann, and Sharon (Phillip) Farnsworth of Bay: sister-in-law, Donna Bell of Trumann and host of nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Emerson Funeral Home. The funeral service, officiated by John Dillinger, will follow at 2:30 PM. Barbara will be laid to rest at Pine Log Cemetery.

The following individuals have been selected as active pallbearers: Russell Qualls, Mark Fagan, Rick Woods, Chris Coots, Kendrick Calloway, and Keith McElyea, with Steve Coots serving as an honorary pallbearer.

Barbara Ann Woods will be dearly missed by her family and friends, and her memory will forever live on in our hearts.
