Barbara Sue Timms

Barbara Sue Timms, 63, of Lake City, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She lived most of her life in the Lake City area and was a member of the Refuge General Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Nickolas Timms; her parents, Luther Mann and Christene Henley; two brothers Frank Mann and Charles Mann; and one sister, Dean Shaver.

She is survived by her husband, James Timms, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Cornish and husband Ernest, Monette; Jamie Howard, Lake City; brothers, Billy Mann and wife Pat, Lake City; Dewayne Mann and wife Debbie, Finger, Tennessee; Tommy Mann and wife Patty, Lake City; Linnard Mann and wife Shirley, Jackson, Tennessee; sisters, Ann Adams and husband Larry, Bono, Arkansas; Elaine Mann, Finger, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Derek Cornish, Tyler Cornish, Paige Howard, and Landon Howard and a sister in law Ruth Rand.

Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Refuge General Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Ward and Rev. Ernest Cornish officiating and burial to follow at Lower Cane Island Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers are Mark Mann, Chip Mann, Rickie Timms, Randy Timms, Ricky Rand, Tye Combs, David Mann and Gary Mann. Honorary pallbearers are Derek Cornish and Tyler Cornish. Visitation will be from 6 – 8 Friday night at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
