Barbara J. Raper

Barbara J. Raper, 64, of Bono, died Monday, August 3, 2015 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. She had lived in Bono for 6 years, moving there from Jonesboro. Barbara was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed sewing, painting, and drawing. Barbara enjoyed serving as a coach for the Special Olympics. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and one grandson.

Survivors include her daughters, Michelle Friend (Jerry) and Melissa “Lisa” Morgan, all of Bono; brothers, Jim Jensen (Janelle) and David Jensen (Karen) of Texas; Sue Cozart (David) of Jonesboro; Joyce Jensen-Nigg of Wisconsin.

Funeral services will be 5:00 Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Chris Bass officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private and visitation will be from 4:00 until service time.
