Barbara Jeanette White Robinett, 70, of Tumbling Shoals, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.
Born in Little Rock, Barbara was a 1972 graduate of Benton High School and lived in Jonesboro and Alma before moving to Tumbling Shoals 15 years ago. She was a retired business woman co-owning Cleo's Furniture for several years before retirement.
Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church of Heber Springs where she was a Sunday school teacher, pre-school choir director, finance committee chairman and part time financial secretary. She was also a member of the adult choir, hand bell choir and Strings N Things music group.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Wanda Faye Nooner Cook, and her first husband, Ray Lynn White.
Survivors include her husband, Jackie Robinett of the home;
2 sons, Richard Cleo White of Jonesboro and Jarrett E. Robinett of Paragould;
1 daughter, Natalie M. Robinett (Brian) Graue of Sommerville, Tennessee;
1 brother Dale F. Cook (Cindy) of Little Rock;
2 sisters, Sherry L. Keisler (Randy) of Benton, and Crystal G. Miguel (Bobby) of Texas; and
4 grandchildren, Leslie G. Graue, Caleb R. White, Landon J. Graue and Hannah Kate Graue.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23 at First Baptist Church in Heber Springs with Bro. Matt Basford and Bro. J.R. Debusk officiating. A 2:30 p.m. graveside and committal service will follow at Nettleton Cemetery in Jonesboro with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will precede the funeral service from 9:30 to service time in the church sanctuary.
Active pallbearers include Mike Moore, Rick Freeman, Jim Cordes, Max Pigford, Jere Reeves and B.J. Stracener.
