Barbara Jean Ray

Barbara Jean Ray, 46, died January 6, 2007, in Springfield, Illinois. She had lived in Jonesboro as a child and had spent the past 7 years in Springfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby & Dorothy Harrelson Ray.

She is survived by her children, Mickey Eaton, San Diego, CA; Mindy Bowen, Springfield, IL; Bobbie Jean Mills, Springfield, IL; her brother, Kenneth Cook, Jonesboro; sisters, Donna Ray, Cape Girardeau, MO; Virginia Walls, Jonesboro; Susan Darlene Cook, Fenton, MI; and her grandchildren, Catlin Bowen, Teah Power, Dalys Eaton, Keara Eaton, Joshua, and Michael.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Nettleton Cemetery with Bro. Bill Watt officiating, Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers will be Chandra Cook, David Cottongim, Rodney Cook, David Canady, Lucis Johner, Mickey Eaton, and Kenneth Cook.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
