Barbara Jean Mcginnis

Barbara Jean McGinnis, 71, of Jonesboro, died Friday May 14, 2010 at her daughter’s residence.

She was born in West Fork, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro for five years moving here from Hot Springs.

She was a nursing assistant and a member of the Sherwood Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Fred Rose, two children Rodney McGinnis, Beth McGinnis and one sister Joyce Ann Obrebski.

Survived by her son Robert McGinnis of Michigan.
Two daughters; Bonita Haviaras of Mt. Pleasant, Michigan and Reba Shipley and husband Jack of Jonesboro.
One sister, Nancy Bullard of Hot Springs.
15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 2:00 P.m. Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Crestview Cemetery in Hot Springs, with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.

Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M. Tuesday May 18, 2010 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro and from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Wednesday May 19, 2010 at Hot Springs Funeral Home in Hot Springs with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge.
