Barbara Ann Jaress

Barbara Ann Jaress, 83, of Jonesboro passed from this life on October 2, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born to the late Aaron and Maudline Rogers on April 24, 1940 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Barbara was a CNA in Labor and Delivery for many years in Florida. She was a natural caregiver and enjoyed taking care of those families in her care. Barbara was an active member in the Greensboro Road Church of Christ. In her free time Barbara enjoyed reading a good book and spending time with her best friend from elementary school, Phyllis. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Jaress; and brother, Robert Rogers.

Barbara is survived by her son, David Jaress; daughter, Debra Smith; and grandchildren, Kaitlyn Jaress, Taylor Jaress, Daniel Smith, Cary Smith, and Krista Smith.
