Barbara Sue Gray, 75 of Jonesboro passed from this life November 20, 2025 at St Bernards Hospital. She was born May 3, 1950 in Louisville, KY to Wiley and Evelyn Gray. Barbara was of the Christian faith and a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church. She attended Nettleton Schools but graduated with honors from New Albany High. She was a proud US Army vet and was a published author.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Wiley and Evelyn, brothers Jimmy and Tommie Gray and beloved niece Misty Turpin. She is survived by sisters Nona(Jerry) Tolbert, Janice(Billy) Williams and Gail(Fred) Flemon, a host of nieces and nephews and her special bonus family Bryan, Beth, Jalynn, Aiden and Kenna Hook and all of her Jonesboro VA family.

The family will be hosted a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Philadelphia Baptist Church starting at 1:00 PM.
