Barbara Jane Butler

Barbara Jane Butler, 70, of Conway passed from this life on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Conway Regional Hospital. She was born to the late James and Jane Butler on September 11, 1950 in Jonesboro. Barbara was a Teacher for Jonesboro High School for 28 years before retiring.  She enjoyed watching Westerns, listening to music, and spending time with her granddaughters. In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her brothers, James Butler Jr. and Tim Butler; and sister, Clara Butler.

Barbara is survived by her son, Raymond Butler (Julia) of Conway; brothers, Don Butler of Chicago and John Butler of Fordyce, Arkansas; sister, Delores McFadden of Gary, Indiana; grandchildren, Teaja Butler, Raven Butler, Shantaza Price, Carmela White, and Jamie Reed; and great grandchildren, Jordan Reed, Khylin Reese White, and Khaloni Jai Filhiol.

The visitation will be held prior to the service on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home with Dan Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
