Barbara Carole Blanchard

Barbara Blanchard, 84, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born in Egypt, Arkansas, on January 13, 1940, to Hubert Howard Blanchard and Van Gene Martin Blanchard.

Barbara is survived by her four children: Louis Christopher Munos, Catherine Marie Munos, Charles Victor Munos, and Craig Martin Munos; daughter-in-law Laura Munos; sister-in-law Pat Blanchard; four grandsons; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bill, Hubert, Ken, and Bob Blanchard, as well as her sisters-in-laws Janive, Judy, and Sharon Blanchard.

Barbara taught school for many years, retired from Coca-Cola, and spent 10 years in her retirement as the Director of the Cornerstone Methodist Church nursery. She was an amazing, loving mother and a friend to everyone she met. She was also a devoted servant, giving many hours of her time to her church and to the Helping Neighbors Food Pantry. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards with great friends, and having lunch with lifelong friends. Barbara spent her life caring for her family and others and will be terribly missed.
