Barbara Ann Barker

Barbara Ann Barker, 71, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, March 12, 2016 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1945 in Marshall, Arkansas to the late Cephus and Novalene Thompson. Barbara was a graduate from Valley View Class of 1963 and was of the Baptist belief. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, gardening and arts and crafts. She most of all loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her 4 brothers, Bill, Jack, Donald, Floyd Thompson and 1 sister, Deborah Raney.

Survivors include her son, Derrick William Francis; daughter, Crystal Barker Harrison; 3 sisters, Glenda Melton, Stella Waldron, Peggy Hanks, and 2 grandchildren, Ethan Brewer and Ella Brewer all from Jonesboro.
