B. C. Gulley, 84, of Jonesboro died Sunday, November 30, 2008, at NEA Medical Center. He lived in Jonesboro all his life and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. B. C. enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ludean Gulley; brothers, L. A. Gulley and Herbert Gulley; two sisters, Myrtle Henry and Lela McHalfey; and a grandson, Curtis Gulley.
Mr. Gulley is survived by his wife, Beatrice Gulley, of the home; son, Cecil Gulley and wife Brenda of Jonesboro; daughter Charlene Walton, Jonesboro; step-son Wayne Gulley, Jonesboro; step-daughter, Betty Bridger, Jonesboro; brother, Earnest Gulley, Elkins, Arkansas; sister, Maudina Mitchell, Jonesboro; Grandchildren, Stacy Seel, Rodney May, Kenneth Gulley; Step-grandchildren, Ricky Bridger, Wendie Bridger, Tiffany Gibson, Jimmy Gulley, and Amanda Gulley; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Vuncannon and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at Pierce Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Gulley, Henry Mitchell, Rick Bridger, Jimmy Gulley, Wayne Gulley and Owen Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are the men of New Hope Baptist Church.
