Audrey Louise Miller

Audrey Louise Miller, a cherished resident of Lake City, Arkansas, peacefully passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 88. Born on February 10, 1936, in Red Onion, AR, Audrey was the beloved daughter of Vachel and Opal Taylor.

Audrey's life was one of profound love, dedication, and service to her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floran "Punk" Miller, as well as her parents and siblings Dorothy Madison, Edwin “Pete” Taylor, and Vachel “Junior” Taylor. She is survived by her two sons, Ken Miller (Jill) and Jim Miller, and leaves behind a legacy of love in her grandchildren: Michael Ryan Miller, Cole Allen Miller, David Christopher Miller (Stephanie), and Dr. Leah Michelle Arlequin (Corey). Her great-grandchildren, Avery Arlequin, Allison Arlequin, and Audrey Miller, will carry forward her memory with love and admiration.

Audrey was a beacon of light in her family, radiating positivity, humility, and kindness. She lived a life filled with contentment and joy, never speaking ill of others and always greeting life with a smile. Her eyes sparkled with love whenever she spoke of her family, who meant the world to her.

As a dedicated homemaker, Audrey found fulfillment in caring for her husband and family, preserving cherished traditions, and ensuring her home was always a welcoming haven for her loved ones. She was the epitome of hospitality, with a pitcher of sweet tea in the fridge and a pot of coffee always brewing for impromptu gatherings around her kitchen table.

Audrey's home was adorned with framed photos of her cherished family members, a testament to the love and pride she felt for each of them. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was enjoying family holidays, road trips with her late husband, or cheering on her beloved St. Louis Cardinals.

A faithful member of the Lake City Church of Christ, Audrey's life exemplified the values of faith, love, and compassion. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery, with David Gibson officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis, TN, in honor of Audrey's compassionate spirit and love for others.
