Ashley Tinsley Montgomery

Ashley Tinsley Montgomery, 40, of Jonesboro went to be with the Lord peacefully with her family by her side on April 11, 2016 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born June 22, 1975, Ashley was a lifelong resident of Jonesboro. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and she touched the lives of all those who knew her. She was a member of the Cathedral Baptist Church, active with the Foundation of Arts and a 1993 graduate of Valley View High School. She worked many years at the NEA Baptist Hospital and Clinic.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Charles and Carrie Tinsley and her maternal grandparents; Veda and Johnnie Pierce Sr.

Survivors include her loving husband of 19 years, Drew Montgomery of the home; 2 daughters, Makayla and Addison Montgomery of the home; Parents, Larry Dale and Betty Pierce Tinsley Jones of Jonesboro; Brother, Chris Jones of Bryant, Arkansas; Sister, Jennifer Keeler of Sherwood, Arkansas; her exchange student sister; Victoria Idiope of Africa; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday April 14, 2016 with Rev. Doug Welborn and Chaplain Edward Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow in the Pierce Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday April 13, 2016 in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Rogers, Keith Michael, Chris Lacefield, Mark French, Mike Browning, Dustin England and Rockey Griggs.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Flo and Phil Jones Hospice for their love and support for Ashley, during her stay there.
