Arthur “Ott” Perry, 56 of Jonesboro died Saturday, December 2, 2006 at home. He was born in Jonesboro and had lived most of his life here. He was a member of the North Main Baptist Church and had worked at Riceland Foods for 30 years. He served in the U S Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and five sisters.
Survivors include his wife Charlotte Perry of the home, three sons and daughters-in-law; Eddie and Kelly Perry of Bono, Arkansas; Robert and Shelly Berry of Lake City, Arkansas; and Marty Perry of Jonesboro. Also surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathi and Jeff Gray of Jonesboro and Randi Perry of Jonesboro; three brothers, Johnny Perry, W. Melbourne, Florida, Frank “Chico” Perry, Summerton, S.C., and Jesse Perry of Jonesboro, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at North Main Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Brown officiating and burial to follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Co-Workers from Riceland Foods and honorary pallbearers are the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class from North Main Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.
