Areletta Sue Fike

July 10, 1945 — February 10, 2019

Areletta Sue Fike, 73, of Trumann, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

Born in Ensign, Kansas, Sue lived much of her life in Trumann. She worked several years for Columbia Forest Products in Trumann and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Trumann. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family especially her children and grandchildren and enjoyed leisure time at Lake Norfork. She was preceded in death by her father, Pete Atkins and her husband, Gary Ray Fike.

Survivors include her mother, Inez Atkins of Jonesboro;
2 daughters and sons-in-law: Hollie and Nathan Brock of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Leann and David Fagan of Trumann;
1 brother and his wife, Rickey and Amanda Atkins of Trumann;
3 sisters and their husbands: Betty and Joe Scott of Jonesboro, Shirley and James Britnell of Trumann, and Birdie Prentice of Marysville, Ohio;
10 grandchildren and
2 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday in Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Austin Missey officiating. Entombment will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Active pallbearers include: Lee Forbus, Roger Forbus, Tim Wood, Matt Parnell, Tyler Burgess and Justin Muse. Honorary pallbearers include: James Britnell, Rick Atkins, Joel Scott, Nathan Brock and David Fagan.
