Antoni Joseph Sipa

Antoni Joseph Sipa, 67, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by family and friends. He was born to the late Jozef and Stefania Sipa on August 10, 1950 in Pine Bluff.

Joe lived most of his life residing in Jonesboro after coming from Pine Bluff. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged at the completion of his service. Joe then spent the next 46 years working with the United States Postal Service where he accomplished a rare milestone in driving 1 million miles accident free. He was an avid bowler who bowled several perfect scores of 300 and enjoyed wood working.

In addition to Joe’s parents, he is preceded in death by his lifelong canine companion Cali.

Joe is survived by his wife, Brenda Sipa, of the home; daughter: Emily Sipa of Little Rock, AR; two brothers: Stevie (Lydia) Sipa and Johnnie (Debbie) Sipa both of Jonesboro; sisters: Rena (Rich) Christensen of Hot Springs Village, Juila Sipa – Robinson of Conway, Stephanie (Cary) Crain of Conway, Debra (Steve) Collar of Jonesboro, Janine Sipa of Jonesboro, and Barbara (Joey) Azevedo of Florida.

A visitation will be from 5:30 -8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.

All other services are private.
