Anthony "Tony" Dale Story

Anthony Dale Story, 38, of Brookland, left this world to soar with angels on Thursday, October 19. Born on July 27, 1985, Tony walked in love his entire life, and brought joy to so many he encountered in his short journey.

Tony was interested in music, sports, laughter, and being surrounded by friends and family. His roles were varied and not just in career. He was a father to Sawyer, age 7, and Darby, age 11. He was a big brother to Amber, and an uncle to Jax. He was a nephew, a cousin, a wonderful storyteller and so many other things.

When he departed, Tony went to join the amazing people who he had seen go before him. He was welcomed to his Heavenly home by his grandparents, Robert and Lynda Fife and Richard and Shirley Story. His great-grandmother Norma Mae Story and his great-grandfather Kermit Langston. His uncles Donald Alexander and John Fife also met him there.

Those who will join Tony again one day include his parents Rick and Laurie Story, his sister Amber Shell, and his two children, Darby and Sawyer, nephew, Jaxson Shell, along with his girlfriend and partner, Kim Tucker. Tony also leaves behind Tara Hooker-Story, the mother of his children and former wife. He will also be mourned by his aunts Rita Jones, Melissa Wallis, and Melody Alexander and his uncles Randy Story, Dennis Alexander, Jerry Alexander, Andy Alexander, Kevin Fife, and Robert Fife, plus several cousins. Friends Tony has left behind are far too many to mention.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Emerson Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 PM.
