Anthony May

Anthony “Billy” R. May, 56 of Jonesboro died Tuesday November 21, in Brookland, Arkansas.

He was born in Brickeys, Arkansas, and lived in Jonesboro for 2 years, moving here from Rondo, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his wife Karen T. May in 2004, one son, Dustin Scott May, His father Carl Castle May, and one brother Tony Castle May.

He was an self employed retailer and a long time farmer. He was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include his mother: Eunice Clare May of Jonesboro.

Three sons: Anthony Barrett May, Ashley Ray May, and Nicholas Jared May all of Rondo, Arkansas.

One brother, Rickey Larne May and his wife Susan Marie May of Cordova, Ill.

Two sisters: Pamela (May) Godfrey and her husband Albert F of Hardy, Arkansas.
Sheila (May) Baker and her husband Jim of Jonesboro.

One grandchild, Lindsey Brooke

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday November 24, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Emil Williams officiating. Burial will follow with a graveside service at 1:30 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in West Helena, Arkansas.

Active Pallbearers will be Danny Joe Wolfe, Jim Baker, Michael Schaffhauser, Albert Godfrey, Richard May and Mark May.

No visitation has been schedule.
