Anthony Robert Caparas

Anthony Robert Caparas, 45, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He had lived in Jonesboro for 21 years, moving here from the Philippines. Anthony was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He was a member of the Trim Gym and was an avid tennis player competing in many competitions. Mr. Caparas was a self-employed physical therapist and was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Juliet Caparas; son, A.J. Caparas; daughter, Alyssa Caparas, all of the home; mother, Adoracion Caparas; brothers, Gilbert Caparas; Maechael Caparas; sister, Sheila Torres all of Laguna, Philippines; and sister, Maria Rotair of Pasig Philippines.

A memorial funeral mass will be 6:00 PM, Friday, July 13, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jack Vu officiating. Emerson Funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be private.
