Annie Pearl Erby

Annie Pearl Erby, 79, of Jonesboro, entered into eternal rest on Sunday July 24, 2011 at her home.

Annie was born on November 16, 1931, in Tyronza, to the late Earl and Daisy Rook. Annie was a homemaker, and was of the Pentecostal belief. She was always very involved in her children’s life, and had a special place in her heart for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents Earl and Daisy Rook, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Erby; three brothers Talmadge Rook, Harold Rook, Melvin Earl Rook; and two sisters Dianne Rook and Joyce Duncan Dundas.

Survivors include her son, David Erby of Jonesboro; three daughters, Patricia Carrington and husband Johnny of Weatherford, Texas, Glenda Blackshear and husband Gary of Bay, and Tammy Wright of Jonesboro; a brother Larry Rook of Jonesboro; seven grandchildren, Sarina Moose, Jared Cook, Randy Milsap, Amber Dickson, Robert Erby, Felecia Erby, Jessica Erby; and 12 great-grandchildren, Destiny Lewis, Jayda Dickson, Trinity Milsap, Serene Milsap, Aleena Milsap, Colton Sanders, Chelsea Sanders, Chloe Sanders, Breydon Erby, Jayden Erby, Dylan Malone Jr., Jordan Erby.

Visitation will be 12-2pm on Tuesday at Emerson Funeral Home with, graveside services following at 2:30pm in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ken Stallings officiating.
