Annette Marie Henson, 59, of Bono passed from this life Thursday, April 15, 2021 at home with her family by her side. She was born on July 29, 1961 in Walnut Ridge to Chester and Loretta Mae Brown. Annette has resided in Northeast Arkansas for her entire life and was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Sedgewick.

In Annette’s earlier years she was a track star at Hoxie High school.

Throughout her life, Annette loved travelling, fishing, and spending her time at Greers Ferry Lake surrounded by her family. Annette also enjoyed watching her grandchildren’s ball games.

Annette is survived by her mother, Loretta Tillman of Walnut Ridge; two daughters, Ashley Doyle of Jonesboro and Heather (Josh) Brand of Imboden; sister, Sherry Manning of Walnut Ridge; and the ones who called her ‘Mee-mee” three grandchildren, Marca Doyle,  Natalie Jo Brand and Nicole Marie Brand. Along with a host of other friends and family members who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be from 12:30 -2pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 2 pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Josh Brand, BJ Kirby, Keith Harp, Tosh Manning, Ryan Manning, and Gerald Chesier. Honorary pallbearers will include: The Arkansas Xtreme Softball team and Hoxie Class of 1979.
