Anne Thompson Neumann, 77 of Jonesboro died Friday, May 6, 2016.
She was born on September 6, 1938 in Paragould to the late Arvel and Sara Thompson. She graduated high school in Harrisburg and attended Arkansas State University. After college, Anne worked in television and theater. She worked for Citizens Bank and was the warranty claims manager for Blackwell Baldwin Ford. She was a very active member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church choir and ECW.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children’s father Gordon E. Brown and her husband of forty years, Fred C. Neumann Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie C. Brown /Robin Leach of Tulsa, OK; son, Charles B. Brown/Ann and granddaughter Caitlin Brown of Fort Smith; one sister, Carol Moye; her special aunt Betty Choate both of Jonesboro; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with Entombment directly following the service. Honorary pallbearers are Scott and Kevin Moye, Gaylon Cooper, and Bill Humphreys.
