Anna Mae Shewmaker

August 29, 1941 — March 7, 2012

Anna Mae Shewmaker, 70, of Jonesboro passed away Wednesday March 7, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born in Delaplaine, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro most of her life. She was a production worker and was of the Church of God Seventh Day. She loved her children, grandchildren, brothers and her sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Shewmaker, parents, Benjamin and Mary Pitcher, brothers, James and Leon Pitcher.

Survived by her daughter, Gail Slater of Jonesboro.

Sons; Gary Grisham of California and Ken Aynes of Oklahoma.

Brothers; Dawel and Phillip Pitcher both of Paragould and Benjamin Pitcher of Marmaduke.

Sisters; Mary Ball of Okean, Katie Grooms of Paragould and Ruth Bruton of Delaplaine.

7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Sunday March 11, at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Adam Bruton officiating. Burial will be at Greene County Memorial Gardens, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers will be Grant Pitcher, Matt Pitcher, Al Ball, Jonathan Ball, Robert Grooms, Jeremiah Bruton and Logan McPherson.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
