Anna "Leola" Warren

Anna Leola Warren, 86, of Bay passed away Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Community Compassion Center. She was born December 9, 1932 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the late Leroy and Mertie Bruner. Leola was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. She enjoyed singing, cooking and taking care of others. Leola most of all loved her family.

In addition to her parents, Leola was preceded in death by her husband, Earl “Bud” Warren; son, Michael “Buddy” Warren and 3 brothers, Jimmy Bruner, L.V. Bruner and Jesse Bruner.

Survivors include 2 sons, Ricky (Karen) Warren of Bay, Wallace (Judy) Warren of Marion; daughter, Vickie Davison of Jonesboro; sister, Sharon (Joe) Bourgeois of West Virginia; 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 10:00 am at Bay United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary Wiles and Rev. Jim Markley officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being Roger Pettit, Shannon Davison, Greg Bruner, Harrison Bruner, Jeremy Bruner and Joey Bourgeois.

Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel.
