Anna Rai Estes

Anna Rai Estes, 80, of Jonesboro, formerly of Monette died Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

She was born April 27, 1938, in Jonesboro, the daughter of Fred and Ila Vinson. She was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and Arkansas State University. She taught school at BIC in Monette for a number of years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Estes, one son, Mark Estes, her parents and one brother, Jimmy Vinson.

She is survived by her son, Mike (Bobbie) Estes of Jonesboro, one sister, Kathy McNatt of North Little Rock, a granddaughter, Haley Gammill of Jonesboro and a grandson, Will Gammill of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by a special friend, Janet Jones of Manila and also leaves behind several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a visitation and celebration of life from 5-7 pm Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be private.
