Anna J Brown

Anna Brown, 84 of Jonesboro, died Thursday January 27 in Oklahoma City, OK. She moved from Jonesboro to Oklahoma City ten years ago and was of the Baptist belief. She was an amazing cook and seemingly always had a smile on her face. Also, she absolutely adored her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Nonnie and Christine Sims, one sister, Marion Danpeer, and one son, Charles Wesley Brown.

She is survived by one son; David Miller Brown and his wife Laura of Sanger, TX, one daughter; Christy Partain and her husband Russell of Oklahoma City, OK, one sister; Betty Hart of Mobile, AL, three half-siblings; Van, Hilda Jean, and Charlotte, five grandchildren; Angela Ellison Smith and her husband Todd of Jonesboro, David Ellison, and Elliot, Justin and Jimmy Lee Brown, as well as two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 29 from 12:30-1:30 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, AR.

A graveside service will follow at 2:00 at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Reverend Don Blackmore officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that consideration be given to The Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter.
